While this pandemic is still very much part of our present, and our future, we can definitely reflect on what we’ve learnt from living through lockdown. All of our lives have changed this year and each of us are adapting to live through this pandemic and trying to make peace with the present. For some, this might have been a little inconvenient, while for others this might have turned life changing tragedy. Each day we are presented to a new situation and some serious issues. Here are few lessons that lockdown taught me or helped me realise how our lives have been.
First and foremost thing is that we all got to deal with the bitter truth that the only person who will always be with you forever is you yourself. Avoiding people is the key factor for survival. Nothing in this life is guaranteed. Start finding happiness with your own company because everyone can make you smile, but not everyone can make you happy. Start working on yourself in becoming a better person than who you are now and stop depending on anyone.
On the other hand, this pandemic has surely put light on our interests and also we would have found out doing what makes us happy, like cooking, art, dancing, writing who are generally engineers, doctors, and others by profession. It looks like we all have somewhat found out what we really like to do. At the end of the day, all that matters is what we like to do and our happiness while doing what we like. Continue doing what makes you happy.
This pandemic has also showed us how to value our lives. Initially we all felt that, these are the days we were waiting for because we all needed a break from our busy routines. But later on as the Covid cases went out of control, we all realised how important it is to take care of ourselves and our family. You really do not know how grateful you are, until it’s gone. It may be a thing, a person or a relationship. Never take anything for granted.
Be your own sunshine. ❤
"the only person who will always be with you forever is you yourself"
This is what you have mentioned in the second paragraph
I have one question
If you were my friend then if I gave you my total time, attention and everything everytime then obviously you'll get bored of me one day for sure because that is human nature
If we know something will be always available for us then We'll take it for granted
Then as you have said at last it's only You and Yourself no one will be there
Then in that case if we avoid every others and if we start to live by ourselves without anyone else then one day we'll get bored of…
